About the event

Fair Game's apple brandy started with an ambitious idea: could a large quantity of North Carolina apples be turned into an aged spirit? The answer took several years to find.

Join Lyle Estill, owner of Fair Game Beverage Company and The Plant, for a look at the project from the beginning. Learn about sourcing North Carolina apples on a massive scale, what happens to the fruit along the way, and what makes apples such an interesting starting point for brandy.

Lyle will share the story behind Fair Game's apple brandy and walk through the process, followed by a tasting of the finished spirit.

This is part of The Plant's Apple Fest, celebrating the apple in all its forms. Join us for an afternoon of tastings, talks, live music, local makers, and more!
